As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth for our company. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, and will be expected to effectively communicate the value of our products/services to them.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and other means
  • Research and qualify potential customers to determine their fit with our products/services
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at target companies
  • Develop and execute personalized sales strategies for each target account
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales engineers, product managers, and marketing professionals, to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify new opportunities and expand our product/service offerings
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and customer interactions

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools is a plus

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of sales strategies and tactics
  • Certification in sales or business development 
  • Fluency in additional languages
